Jefferson Nickels

Featuring the profile of President Thomas Jefferson, this coin is indeed something special for coin collectors. The years of 2004 and 2005 has brought new designs for this nickel, changes being made both to the face and the reverse.
There are a lot of people who prefer collecting coins that only circulated for brief periods of time, adding coins with mint errors to their unique collections and showing a particular interest for the coins that have historic significance. You can also find coin collections dedicated to certain subjects, periods and series. There are many collectors who enjoy collecting copies of coins, which is indeed one interesting activity. Coin collecting remains a pretty challenging hobby, the collector having the responsibility of appreciating the mint state of the coin first and foremost.
